NIDA Poll utilizes a computer program to generate 10-digit phone numbers through a process called Random Digit Dialing (RDD). These numbers typically begin with prefixes such as 08, 06, or 09, followed by any combination of digits from 0 to 9. The system ensures that each generated number is unique and has not been previously selected.

Most importantly, NIDA Poll does not know whether the randomly generated numbers are currently active, who the owners are, or which service provider they belong to.

It serves as a reflection of public opinion, allowing relevant agencies to use the data as a guideline for problem-solving or policy formulation. The results are presented as percentages (%) of the national overview rather than on an individual basis. Therefore, it has no impact on the respondents, and you can feel confident in providing your answers.

2. This ensures that the group of respondents is distributed across all 76 provinces and Bangkok, covering every occupation, gender, and age group.
3. Email surveys would be too slow, as we require results that are rapid and timely. Furthermore, most importantly, some people do not have an email address.
